As previously mentioned, the housing is plastic made to look like metal. The status indicator lights are green for charged and orange for not fully charged. Nothing complicated here, just a solid dual battery charger.

This is nice setup. It will maintain a good battery on two items without constant checking. Compact design lets you put it almost anywhere and long connectors will cover an average garage.

I was looking for a second Battery Tender to keep both bike and lawn tractor batterys charged over the winter. Swapping leads on the one I had wasn't doing the job. I had seen this charger before but thought the premium of the original list was not worth the novelty of the product. Amazon had a promo that met my price point and now I have a great dual charger and a spare battery tender. Time for another bike.
The charger/tender works great, gives audible cue that the tender & battery connection is made (bike start up rumble), and visually tells you the status of the charge. Shipping was quick as well.
