Indicating fluid changes color from blue to yellow when exposed to combustion gases in the cooling system and radiator. Connect the hose to any vacuum source, then place the tapered end of the tool into the radiator opening after draining off some coolant. With the engine running, the vehicle`s vacuum draws vapors through the indicating fluid for testing. Takes the guess work out of major engine and cooling problem diagnosis.
