Product Description
Four function digital readout on an easy-to-read backlit LCD: 1. Tachometer: 249 to 9990 RPM (+/- 1% accuracy); 2. Advance Degrees (2 and 4 cycle): 0 to 90 (+/- 0.5 max accuracy); 3. Dwell: 0 to 180 / 2-12 cylinders (+/- 1 max accuracy); 4. Voltage: 10 to 16 volts DC (+/- 1% accuracy). Patented skip circuitry tests up to 9990 RPM. Unit can switch from 2-cycle / distributorless (DIS) to 4-cycle / conventional ignition systems. Slim rotating barrel allows access to the most difficult to reach timing marks. Constructed with heavy-duty ABS/Polycarbonate shockproof housing molded boots and a built-in hand guard to provide maximum protection for the timing light and the user. Uses detachable 6-foot leads with insulated wire and heavy-duty battery clips with metal inductive pickup constructed with durable coaxial cable that accommodates up to 10mm plug wires. Includes a molded plastic storage case and instructions in English French and Spanish.

This is a fantastic tool. I bought it to use on my 71 Superbeetle. Although it doesn't seem to indicate timing set to after top dead center,I have used it to successfully set my timing,check out dwell,volts in the charging system and the battery voltage. Maybe with more time on this timing light I will figure how to read before top dead center timing.
Easy to use, nice storage case too!

Solid product, executes all functions I have used flawlessly. I have not used the advance and retard modes yet, due to not having them on the cars that I have used the light on.
